At the moment Kristina is doing much better.
The recent CT showed that the main tumor shrank to 12.5 ccm (it used to be 80, which is 6 times the size), the biopsy material taken (to see if there are metastases) shows there are no metastases. Besides, blood and urine tests for tumor markers show that the indicators of markers have almost reached the norm. In the beginning of the treatment course there were multiple areas of skeletal system affected by metastases (up to 200%), in the middle of the treatment the figures dropped to 160-170%. The latest x-ray of the skeletal system shows that at the moment there is no data received that would point to tumor affect of the skeletal system.
On Sunday before the tests the church in Berislav had a prayer with oil anointment. When the parents of the girl received the results of the tests they could hardly believe them! God is good, He has made so many miracles for Kristina and her family, and He continues unfolding His wonders for them and us…
The further examination and, if needed by its results, treatment for Kristina is planned to be continued in Israel – this became possible thanks to the generous donation of Alyona - a lady that asked to remain incognito. “But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing” – Mt 6:3. Please pray for her and may God bless her generous heart and fill her every need in the richness of His glory!
All of the Gaidai family – the parents Oleg and Anna – are very thankful to all who touched their family with prayers and donations, and ask to keep them in your prayers.
News as by July 30, 2011. Kristina is doing her best. At the moment she is in Kiev again, this time with her father Oleg. She has had her last chemiotherapy and then will have cell samples taken to be scanned in Moscow with MIBJ. The results of the tests will determine the high-dose chemiotherapy that is to follow. To have it the girl and her parent will be isolated in a room in a special hospital department for a month. At the moment there are no vacant places there since the department can room only 2 children (with one parent each) at the same time. Another surgery is a further probability. Keep praying for Kristina's health, for her parents, for the finances and the doctors, and you can make a donation for the family if you are open to it.
June 10, 2011 At the moment Kristina is doing much better. God is good and He answers the prayers of his children! The tumor size shrank from 120mm to 30mm. After the fourth chemiotherapy there were a series of tests taken that showed that metastases in the area of spine bone are cut short. The girl is being prepared for her fifth chemiotherapy now. Berislav church that the Gaidais attend had days of fasting and praise on June 11-12. Keep praying for the further changes, for the recovery and support to the family. The family still needs funds for Kristina's treatment. May God bless you for every good deed. Everyone can help
We ask you to support the Gaidai family in your prayers and, if possible, financially. Oleg and Anna Gaidai have 7 children, 3 of them are adopted and 2 are foster children. At the moment the 3 yo Kristina (adopted about a year ago) is diagnosed with 4th stage neuroblastoma. Some time ago the girl lost appetite and hemoglobin in her blood tests dropped very low in a very short time. The alarmed parents had their girl examined in Kherson, and then continued with the examinations in Kiev. At the moment the girl is in Kiev neurological institute for treatment (Oleg is with her). There are 8 (!) chemotherapies planned that will last for about 70 days. Further bone marrow transplant is possible. The situation is very tense and requires immediate interference. The child's life is in serious danger.

It is so easy to help
